Cheers for Charity Masterpiece
The art of winemaking and life have much in common. To make a great wine, many things must come together. Great vintages are usually produced when the conditions of nature and the struggle of the vines are in harmony to produce exceptional fruit. Then, the hands of the winemaker can create magic. In life, it’s the hard work, perseverance and struggle combined with good timing and a little luck, that can yield a life well lived and worth celebrating.
This year, as we think about the charities that we support and those who rise above their situations, we celebrate the victory of the struggle. Our young Bacchus has freed himself from the tangle of vines that have held him back and celebrates with a thoughtful “Cheers” to the universe. A graceful yet powerful “thank you” to those who have made it possible. We are inspired by the children and young people who break the cycle of their past and live the life they once dreamed of. We are grateful to our charity partners who help them achieve their greatness.
We celebrate them!

“Wine to me is passion. It’s family and friends. It’s warmth of heart and generosity of spirit. Wine is art. It’s culture. It’s the essence of civilization and the art of living” - Robert Mondavi
American artist Morgan Dummit created this unique, original sculpture. We believe it perfectly captures the struggle, the victory, the gratitude and the celebration. There will be four of these produced. Two will be sold, one will be added to the Broadrick collection, and the last will be donated to a museum or other non-profit organization. This drawing is the final sketch after many revisions.
